Israel: Part V--Mount of Beatitudes

On the site commonly referred to as "The Mount of Beatitudes," where the Savior gave his famous Sermon on the Mount, there is, guess what...a Catholic church! The site is gorgeous, with manicured gardens and a view of the Sea of Galilee. We sat (in the shade) and read Matthew chapters 5-7, and enjoyed a peaceful spiritual experience.

This is me, smelling the tree. I think it was an orange tree, and it was FRAGRANT!
