After three days of temperatures below 25 degrees--all day--we finally woke up to snow. The kids have been waiting all week, and were disappointed last night that snow still had not arrived. When they got up this morning at 6:15, I had to convince them to wait until it was light to go out.
It's just a dusting, but there is frozen rain underneath, which makes for treacherous driving.
Since it's Texas, when the sun comes out today, everything will warm up and melt, and we'll be back into the 60's by Sunday afternoon! The kids will enjoy the snow for just a few hours.

Yay...it's good to see snow alive and well in Austin. 2 years in a row is pretty good!
